From facing couples - The couple whose back is to the center of the of the square will make an arch and move forward to the outside. Then they will do a California Twirl. The original out side couple will ducks under the arch and moves forward. If in lines or other formation, the caller will designate who is to make the arch. The other couple will duck under the arch. It is important to remember that the couple making the Arch does the California Twirl. |
