GRAND SQUARE

Chose a number to follow. Then chose another number to follow.
This is a EIGHT dancer movement. From A SQUARED formation: With two pair (Sides or Heads) facing their partner, Those dancers (we will call SIDES will back up three steps and turn to face their opposite on the fourth. The couple facing in (we will call HEADS will walk forward to the center of the square three steps then face their partner. The Heads will then back up three steps and turn to face their opposite. Then they will back up three steps and turn to face their Partner. At the same time the Sides will walk forward three steps to meet their opposite then turn to face their Partner. The Sides will walk forward three steps to meet their Partner in the center of the square and turn to face their opposite. At the same time the Heads will walk forward three steps to meet their Partner at home position. At the same time the Sides will back up to their home position. (One half done)
Remaining the same direction each dancer will retrace the previous walked square. The Heads will back up and turn. The Sides will walk to the center of the square and turn. Each dancer will continue walking three steps and turning until they are back to their original starting place.
Grand Square ends with the starting facing couple still facing. BUT the next call may require they adjust to another direction.
